How do you like your vision. How hot can you get it and can you maintain 225 degrees. So far reviews are great, saying they can hold temps. for hours without touching it.

I bought mine from the local Sams in August for $449, they were starting to clearance them out.

I cook on it at least once a week, and do a brisket at least once a month. That is a 12 hour cook for me. I cook at about 225-250, and it holds fine till the charcoal thins out. I usually check it at about 6 hours and add some more coals. Would probably be fine if I loaded it up initially, but I want to wrap the meat around 6 hours anyway, so it works out.
Mine hold temp for as long as the coals hold up. It's fully ceramic, and works fine for me.
