Any update on how well it holds the boat? Also, any pictures on how you installed it?
I am thinking about putting one on my 18' Xpress CC. I don't know if I should spend the extra money and get the talon or if the micro will hold the boat.
Looks like i am right at the top of the weight limit.

Would also like an update.
When not engaged, how high is the pole above the boat?

my buddy picked one up for $300 for his 20 foot express. surprisingly and much to my disappointment, it holds his boat great in up to 6 or 7 feet of water in a good current. I was going to buy it from him and run duals

honestly man take my advice and put a regular power pole on your boat. the micro pole is designed for smaller boats and kayaks. just get the sportsman or find a deal on a used one.
don't get a talon, haven't heard anything good about them.
also power pole has the best customer service ive ever dealt with.
