im interested in this as well. been using strictly texas style for years.
can carolina style be used in the same manner? as in using as a side sauce for dry smoked meats?

A friend's father showed me how to make Carolina style sauce years ago. Don't remember all the ingredients, but it was a mix of butter, lemon juice, Worcestershire, sugar, mustard and ketchup.

Ive used this one a few times and I've added a few things if my own to it. It's pretty solid. Mustard based bbq sauce isn't really my favorite. I prefer the Carolina vinegar and just a simple tomatoe based bbq sauce

It's so good on a pork sandwich.
2 cups prepared yellow mustard
2/3 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon of your favorite hot sauce
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules or 1 cube
2 teaspoons dried rosemary leaves
1 teaspoon celery seed
3 teaspoons mustard powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon table salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2/3 cup cider vinegar

I don't have a recipe, but I've used Maurice's mustard based sauce a number of times and it's quite good.
