Cave need a C to replace Moz but we wouldn't get anything in return hopefully we can just dump him but I don't think Dell does it
I honestly don't even think they even need a high paid center unless they get a premier one (i.e. howard or whiteside - seeing as if those two are the most available right now).
You need a competent "true center" for maybe 20 minutes of the game and the rest of the time they can use a guy like Tristan Thompson and Varejao. They can find that pretty easily imo (i.e. a guy like alexis ajinca's caliber can give them a solid 10-15 minutes)
They roll out a lineup of: Irving, Smith, James, Love, and Thompson and it probably beats most teams.

Pretty sure Cleveland is in the business of beating every team, not most teams.

that's point of wanting Asik. They dont have the assets to trade for those types. With Moz becoming a FA he can set any asking price because the Cavs have no way of getting another center. By trading for Asik they lose no assets and get a replacement on a much lower deal than what they would give Moz. I agree also dell isn't one to cut losses so I don't see him just dumping Asik.
