I want legal weed in this state and it would still not be enough to plug in the budget hole and would only be a niche economy at best here. Nola would sure as shite benefit from it though.

It's low hanging fruit for a quick revenue stream. That's the usefulness.

It doesn't solve the problem but can put a small dent in it. Tourism will surely benefit. If we could rake in an extra 100 million a year off of it then that's a good step forward.

It would put a huge dent. And it would be a huge market. There'd be folks coming in droves from Texas and the southeast. Even more tourism to Nola.
