Thoughts on Deadpool(Spoilers) it was fricking fantastic

I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. From the opening credits, I was sold. It worked for the Deadpool reasons, but it also worked as an action movie which is kinda rare for these super hero movies.
I can't think of anything I disliked. I loved Colossus. The bad guy is kinda bland I guess. The love interest kinda loses her attitude throughout the movie.
It really does work as a valentine movie though.
Inguess tension is an issue. With only 1 central character who isn't a mutant, and everyone being able to get shot or stabbed 1000 times I never did have much of an emotional investment into the action.
The presence of the X Men is larger than I would have thought.
They could have made Deadpool uglier. He didn't look that much worse off than some people I know. I guess it would have been hard to apply the makeup every day.
I wouldn't recommend waiting for the post credits scene. All it is, in a very Deadpool way is saying that Cable will be in Deadpool 2.

The subtlety of humor was amazing from beginning to end and the action was well put together. Could have been a bigger bad guy, but we didn't come to watch a superhero story.

I would t say anything about this movie is subtle. The most subtle thing in the damn movie was describing balls in a Aussie accent.

I really enjoyed it. Funny, good action, and some fine chicks
His gf is a 10, Gina looked awesome as well (collusus really blocked the view) and even little sinad oconner was growing on me at the end although I'm still not sure what exactly Her power is

We really enjoyed it. It was pretty much as advertised. The opening credits were such a frick-you-Hollywood-we-don't-give-a shite perfect. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't catch shite from the Directors Guild for not giving a shite about the credits.
Loved the shoutouts to Liefeld. Stan Lee was perfect. Loved the shite they threw at the X-Men, Fox, The Avengers, Batman, and on and on...

Yeah, at the end you can see a turbine when the carrier tips over. On the way home my wife was reading up on the movie and saw that it was indeed a "Decommissioned SHIELD Hellicarrier".

I actually kind of liked him. I think the actor did really well with what he was given.
I thought it was a very solid film. Some really hilarious scenes, but some cheesy stuff as well. I would've loved to have seen more scenes between deadpool and weasel talk shite to each other.
