I Wouldnt be opposed to letting him walk and not taking on any contracts in a trade...Durant apparently isn't a big fan of 12 so letting 12 walk opens the door for KD to reunite with his best bud Harden.

Maybe in 2017, because in all likelihood KD is pulling an LBJ and signing a 2 year max with a player option (that he will exercise) after year 1, so he can hit on that huge cap increase in 2017. Same thing LBJ is doing.

KD won't be looking to downgrade from his current situation so I don't think that's in play.
