Hope a cortisone shot works for you ... didn't do a thing for me and except hurt like a mother when he did it. Unless the tear is in the zone where good blood flow is, it won't repair/heal itself. That's per Dr. Adam Perry in Lafayette and the other 2 docs I got opinions from. I waited for 18 months to get it done and continued to run (they said I could but it would likely hurt and get worse) ... it hurt some kind of awful. WHen I couldn't stand it anymore I got it cleaned out.
