thanks ajax

was hoping for the drawing..

tho I did find a medical article on the pineal gland

which said it laid quite close to the optic nerve...not sure what that will serve up

anyways, doctors don't recognize the souls cuz they can't measure it, even in the face of testimony from folks who were OBE and witnessed what was done and said in the room, the docs refused to believe...wow, that's some intense hard core training to deny that...which was a side bar any ways.

No prob RT...didn't mean to hijack thread. Saw it died down & had something to add so I did.

Not trolling at all, trying to figure this thing out like everybody else. Don't always have the energy to dig that deep...gave what I had. Appreciate y'all's input

Been thinking about your above quote for daze.

If the pineal gland is our 3rd Eye, & can perceive stimuli that our other senses cannot, it would stand to reason that with the proximity of the 2,

the electrical impulses fed from the Pineal Gland to the optic nerve could be translated into images by the human eye, and essentially let us "see" visuals of what our 5 base senses cannot.

Hence, the dreaming while awake.
Whether we would be seeing into another "dimension" or not is an entirely different (but not unrelated) question altogether.

The pineal gland is NOT close to the optic nerves. You keep saying "optic nerve" like there is only one of them, but there are two--one for each eye. So what you read is just wrong, or you're mistaking one thing for another.

The PITUITARY gland, a completely separate structure in another part of the brain, is very close to the optic chiasm. Is that what you're thinking of?

It's easy to get pineal and pituitary confused.

edit: I know this stuff because I work with central nervous system patients to treat their brain cancers. Brain anatomy is something I'm familiar with. I'm not a neurologist or anything, though.
