in some ways I have to agree with you. Denver only got 145 yds passing and 90 rushing in super bowl and won easily. I think we can average similar numbers (145/90) and if we have a dominate defense similar to denver, which is plausible considering the depth we have returning, win it all. So I see the point you are making. A good offense is really not necessary and can be a hinderance to our goals.

Im saying 2800 yards passing in the sec isnt even close to a bad passing season and 18 passing tds isnt a shite amount of passing tds. We know this because the entire combined football history of bama and lsu have produced 10 seasons where a player threw for more than 2800 and 10 seasons were a qb threw more than 18 tds. Stop acting like 2800 yards passing and 18 tds is some bottom of the barrel number where our offense has failed if we get to those numbers.
