It really depends on what you are going to use it for. I am a heavy DIYer and I am fine with the quality of the Rigid set from Home Depot. Can't beat the lifetime warranty if you register it correctly. The worst thing about the Rigid cordless system is the radio(s) leave a little to be desired. It's my most used tool and I really don't like the one I have. They have a newer one out now but I haven't taken a look at it yet.

I bought a Rigid drill/driver 12v lithium combo w/ 2 batteries for $100 from HD. Love those drills. Incredibly powerful for a 12v.

I need to get off my arse and register it though so I can get the lifetime battery warranty though. Hope it's not too late.
