I like Tuberville. I'd be happy if we got him should Miles leave.

Spurrier is a great coach, and certainly more accomplished. However, I would prefer Tuberville. I'm just not convinced that Spurrier will work as hard as Tubberville, who still has something to prove.

Spurrier lost 6 this year and is 85 years old. And we have a coaching changes board.

I was not initially a Tubberville fan, but when I think about the team I usually worry about the most on our schedule, Auburn is consistently there.

I'd take Tubberville in a second.

I really think people need to take a look at what is happening in SOuth Carolina now. The problems there have little to do with quality of recruits. SO I am not buying that excuse. This are problems with Players not caring and Spurrier not being able to get production out them. ONe must ask why that is happening. One must aks why that program appers to be going backwards in his view and certain systematic problems are still there.

Those are the questions that SOuth Carolina fans are asking. If Miles leaves it needs to be the questions that LSU fans should be asking

The charter jet is on its way to pick up many of the rantards who post on here. Jacked Up Tepper, Ron Mexico, LSU xman, xiv, and others. They will be taken to Lincoln to learn what a struggling program with poor coaching really looks like. Afterwards, they'll return with a greater appreciation for Miles and the effort the team has put forth this year.

Someone needs to sticky that post.
PURE GENIUS

Mr. Pollard serves on the Board of Directors of IBERIABANK with E. Stewart Shea, the son (i think? at least a nephew) of LSU Board of Supervisor Chairman Jerry Shea. LINK

same problems at Bama...and I'm not sure the conversation on why it is happening can civilly happen on this board.

My take on SC situation..

Older coach disconnected from the players on his team, even more isolated as he doesn't work on the defensive side of the ball, decreased competitive desire (this is his "retirement" job), a lack of winning culture alread at the institution, no money for asst's so you are basically working with little more than GA's at primary positions, a QB controversy, etc etc

I do not think Muschamp and Miles would get along ie Jimbo. Miles would override him to much. IMHO. Now if Miles is leaving, that is a different story.

exactly...there are businesses in Auburn that people in BR deal with besides college football...

is still kind interesting that there's planes flying between both schools though..

The pilot should take one for the team and just crash that bitch in the side of a mountain. Although, I do like Ron, maybe let him eject out and parachute down.

What in the world is this based on? Everything I've ever heard indicates that TT is MUCH more involved in the defense than Miles ever would be.

If Miles is leaving, the new HC will be hiring the DC, not Skip.
