I am going in a month and a half and want recommendations and info that I need. Any shots I need before going? What to see and do is needed.

- I am getting suits made.
- I am going to Cambodia to see Angkor Wat.

(insert lady boy jokes here)

Well just a heads up-the Thai Military is cracking down hard on all vice-more specifically on any vice regarding Westerners.

If you want to pretend good luck. Do some research.

I went Angkor wat. 2 nights/ one day there will be sufficient to see the temples and party. Siem reap is a pretty cool town. Go outside the town and cruise around villages. An extra day will Allow you to go see another attraction if you want.

Thanks! I also welcome general advice on interacting, shopping, transportation and cuisine. Looking forward to real Pad Thai but I know to not try Tradition Thai.

Short trip. You a minimum of 2 full days to see Angkor.

Personally, I wouldn't go back to Bangkok. Chiang Mai is incredible but doubt you have enough time to get there. Really can't help you if you are already doing Siem Reap and Bangkok. Siam Emporium is where I got my suit and it is great.

Ive heard great things about Chang Mai. Might want to spend a couple days there. I'm not a big fan of Bangkok personally. Thailand has some of the best beaches in the world, it would be a shame to go there and not at least hit up a beach for a day. A lot of people like Phuket but I prefer Krabi and the islands nearby. The scenery is absolutely amazing.

What part of Bangkok? I lived on Sukhumvik near the night market back in 06-07. I'd recommend getting in a cab and asking your driver for "ladies".

Watch out for a cheap Thai massage in Bangkok. That shite hurt for DAYS!

Also, that's not realty the Tuk-Tuk drivers sister when he shows you the pictures for "American wanna hanky-panky with my sister?"

Jus' sayin.

ETA: couple of nights in Chaing Mai is awesome. White water rafting, mountain biking, elephant trail rides, night market. Incredible.

I would say skip and Bangkok and head straight to the islands. Maybe start off in Phuket then hop around a few islands. Ferry access makes it relatively easy to get around.
