The Milwaukee Bucks are 18 games under .500 since trading away Brandon Knight in a deal that brought in Michael Carter-Williams.

The Bucks are interested in making another major trade ahead of this year's deadline in an attempt to fix their issues.

Michael Carter-Williams has been mentioned in trade talks, as has Greg Monroe.

Monroe has been productive on offense but he's been a liability on defense, which made the Bucks such a dangerous team last season.

“From what I’m hearing is they (the Bucks) are willing to trade anybody not named Parker, Antetokounmpo or Middleton,’’ an NBA executive said. “I even heard they'd listen (to offers) for Parker and Middleton, but it would have to be some crazy offer.

Pretty good admission that they fricked up

I'm actually sorry to hear this. I'm a big Greg Monroe fan, and he seems like a great guy. Sadly, the Greg Monroes of the NBA are becoming extinct. Being a legit rim-protector at the 5 is almost a requirement nowadays, not a luxury.

Yeah, I was rooting for him and thought he really studied hard as to where he wanted to go. I also thought the Bucks could make a run for like 2 or 3 in the east.

Could also just be a large case of a bad fit. I bet it would be less of an issue if he wasn't playing next to Jabari Parker, who isn't much of a defender either.

At least they have the balls to do it.

Looking at you, Dell.

Hell, maybe we can give Monroe a fresh start in Atlanta. Ship out Teague, Muscala, Mike Scott and a 1st rounder for Jabari Parker and Greg Monroe

They good news for them is that they are not completely broke. If they can trade those two and maybe Middleton, they have two young athletic players in Greek Freak and Jabari plus Henson who is a good rim protector. They need a playmaker at PG and and shooting along with another defensive minded big. Middleton seems more like a 6th man to me which would be ideal if the things above happen. With a talented draft class, go ahead and pull the plug now and you're in a pretty good spot next year and years to come.

I don't care about obtaining any of those guys, really. It's that the Bucks had such a promising young team and they're not afraid to have a small fire sale. There's no need to double down on failed moves.

How would a trade work with Mike Scott...just apply for a prison transfer?

As a Bucks fan, I am happy about this. I think they could get some solid talent for this pair

Just looked at his splits...Monroe still hasn't diversified his offensive game. Combine that with he doesn't get out on the perimeter to defend and can't protect the rim...really hurts his value. Teams will likely exercise caution given this is the second "bad fit" of his career.

Too bad, always liked Moose...want to see him find a good spot.

Except he is still actively playing in the NBA as of last night when he dropped 13 points on the 76ers.

Uncle Blazer will not be pleased. That dude thought Monroe was a top 3 center and better than Towns.
