It fricking sucks that Bama fans can lurk on the LSU recruiting board and then drop their propaganda and market bomb when it serves Bama.

I get this but don't we have just as many if not more starting LBers in the NFL? I might be completely off basis here but I think Bama has had a few more bust at that position and with players in the NFL in general

Yes but where we they drafted. Kwon looks great and all, but he wasn't a top 15 pick. Bama will have two first rounders this year. We need to put Beckwith in the 1st next year. Would help with the stay in school angle as well.

This is an LSU recruiting board, what are you even doing here?

Dude, I said y'all had just as many linebackers in the league as Bama. The poster I responded to asked specifically about guys that started. I don't follow LSU players in the NFL as closely, so I couldn't speak to which ones start.

LSU has as many linebackers in the NFL as Alabama, as I stated
Dude, you lurked and dropped your propaganda and market bombed because it served Bama. You put your spin on the situation that benefited Bama.

LSU fans don't do that on the Bama board.

LSU fans can't do that on the Bama board.

Now run along back to the Bama board and tell them how unfair my post was. Tell them how you weren't trying to promote Bama on the LSU Recruiting Board. Tell them how you didn't include any propaganda that solely served Bama.

I heard a rumor that he went to IMG because he wants to be an EE, but I have no idea if there is any truth to that.

I can't explain the feeling that I get while walking into the LSU campus before a football game. It's even more special when I'm making that trek with any of my 3 kids in tow. I remember those walks mostly because my stories would change as they grew older. At 5/6 they would always want to talk about "Mike the Tiger" and how the entire city of Lafayette could possibly fit into Tiger stadium. As they've grown over the years, (12,16,18) they now love to hear the stories about my experiences as a student. I became friends with the LSU punter and took him and a LBer down to the Boudin Festival one year. I remember going over to the players dorm several times and hung out with our All American LBer a few times. He definitely had one thing in common with my buddies from Fla. Those were great times and great memories. I now tell my kids the PG13 version.

I told that story because my kids are now so infected with LSU that every time I fly out for business they ask me to bring them back ANYTHING LSU. My kids have never stepped foot on LSU's field. They've never had a backdoor pass to walk freely amongst the players and coaches...and yet they've developed this LOVE for LSU. I have a feeling that it will last a lifetime for my kids. I know it has for me.

I can't imagine an La kid, who has LSU rooted in their heart, not hating Bama. Was there ever ANY doubt that both of those 5* Ala. LBers were always committing to the GUMPS yesterday? They are BAMA boys and have BAMA in their hearts... and I get it.

The situation and timing is perfect for Dylon at LSU and I think he and his family will realize it and he'll be a Tiger

I think Dylan is alot like Fournette. Only in a lifetime talent. He was born and raised here. Yes as Fournette stated, he seriously considered Bama, but it was't home. From what Dylan's dad has said to my knowledge, if Miles is still the coach, that will be a big factor. I think in the end he will be a tiger. I have no inside info nor have I spoken to his dad or him. He was committed to us as well, so that has to be a factor. Not saying he can't change his mind, but just my $.02. If he is not and goes to Bama, then he will be tiger bait. Wish him the best on whatever the decision is.

Barron is a LB in the league? He was a S at Bama and I'm pretty sure he wasn't drafted as a LB, so you need to take him out of that "4 out of 5 first rounder" stay.

And yes, Mingo was drafted to be an OLB in the 3-4.

totally different situations. but you know that already. I hope moses stays home and commits to LSU. I really do.

I just don't think it's going to happen when the kid is quoting nick saban and wearing bama gear.

He also hasn't had anytime with Aranda.

Gotta think that will help in the coming months.

He is an animal when you run at him or he guesses the right gap. He has a long ways to go on reads and transitions. Complete physical freak but definitely has some growing to do as a football player.

I wish the kid the best no matter what but he is not near the impact player that LF7 was coming out of high school.

monsterballads is absolutely right.

Any smart program would face reality, move on, and go after other 5 and 4 star players.

totally different situations. but you know that already.
The Fowler situation is totally different from the Moses situation?!?!

Why? Because Fowler was actually COMMITTED to LSU while Moses is NOT committed to Alabama?!?!

Seems like a much STRONGER case for LSU to keep recruiting Moses. If Texas kept recruiting Fowler even though he was COMMITTED to LSU, do you think Texas would have ignored him if he was uncommitted and just wearing LSU gear?

Look, I know you're fricking dumb as dirt, but I'll try to teach you.

Fowler was actually COMMITTED to LSU, and Texas did not quit. They succeeded in flipping him.

(1) Dylan is NOT committed to Alabama.
(2) Dylan was COMMITTED to LSU
(3) Dylan's father stated that Dylan would commit to LSU if Miles is coach.
(4) Alabama just had two 5* recruits sign to play LB yesterday.
(5) LSU will have a wide open depth chart for LBs next year.

But yeah, I can absolutely see your point. LSU should stop recruiting Moses because you just don't think it's going to happen.

all in all you want, but time to face reality

The staff needs to sign every 3 star and up LB they can get to pick up a phone next year. However, Moses' move out of state might actually help LSU. Being away from the bubble and the constant comments may give him some perspective. Also, if the defense is as good as we all hope it can be under Aranda next season, that will give him plenty to consider. He will have instant playing time here pretty much guaranteed.

They've inadvertently set up the roster for this kid to step in and play right away. If he still goes to Alabama then he never had any intentions of coming here.
