What kind of jail time is a friend looking at

Possession of controlled substance with intent to sell, within 1500ft of church. Bond at 100k.

Went to school with the guy. Had a big bust this weekend and saw he was involved. Whats he looking at?

Depends on numerous factors. Was it his first offense, has he ever been to jail before, etc etc. I will definitely say not good though.

Probably threats of jail time, followed by pressured requests to become an informant.

Then probation if first offense.

ETA: Just saw your above post. Now he's definitely becoming an informant or getting a little jail time. Unless he's wealthy, of course. Good lawyer might prevent jail time.
