yeah but he's clearly lost more than 1 step and is starting to really rack up injuries

For sure, he's gotten better at some of the technical aspects of the position though to make up for it. Not criticizing him for hanging it up, but he would have been a big pickup for a contender this offseason if he had been cut or traded. Still had plenty left to give
