Do you have a link for the Germans underreporting rapes? My sister is a feminist and it may help her see the light.

germany is engaging in victim blaming
sweden is the one with the non-western rape problem
and your sister will dismiss any source b/c the progressive sources rely on the policies that prevent discussing the race of the perps and only sources she'd dismiss (as xenophobic, racist, right wing, etc) are actually talking about the problem
here is a link that i won't say is 100% trustworthy, but this is telling:
the part about this whole discussion that really pisses me off is the actual data is being so hidden that any real conversation is difficult

This month, all major Swedish media reported on a brutal gang rape on board the Finnish Ferry Amorella, running between Stockholm and Åbo in Finland. Big headlines told the readers that the perpetrators were Swedish:
"Several Swedish Men Suspected of Rape on the Finland Ferry" (Dagens Nyheter).
"Six Swedish Men Raped Woman in Cabin" (Aftonbladet).
"Six Swedes Arrested for Rape on Ferry" (Expressen).
"Eight Swedes Suspected of Rape on Ferry" (TT – the Swedish News Agency).
On closer inspection, it turned out that seven of the eight suspects were Somalis and one was Iraqi. None of them had Swedish citizenship, so they were not even Swedish in that sense.

Why do people on here have such a hard on for vigilante "justice"? It must be so exciting to see people getting hit around....who cares whether they've done anything wrong. Maybe some of them have, some of them havent. If even one innocent person was assaulted, then it's bad. The fact that there are people lionizing this behavior is pathetic.

You must really hate war, teevens

I'm surprised that the upstanding citizens in certain US cities that are plagued by crimes like flash-robbing stores and the KO game haven't already done this.

failure of government and/or government oppression

like i said earlier. if the government doesn't get its head out of its arse, these incidents will be very tame
genocide will be the only solution

I do, but I also don't cruise around in war zones. I might take the subway at some point, and I'd rather not have 10 dudes roll up on me for merely existing.

I like it because it is effective. If you read the article the police themselves admit they are not able to control the situation and warned people it wasn't safe to go into the station because of the gangs. If the cops aren't willing or able to stop crime what is wrong with citizens doing something about it on their own? Do you think they should just give up and do nothing?

well to make a very simple and brief point
you will find societal equivlanets to "war zones" where Muslim men of north african and middle eastern culture congregate

The herd mentality is extremely dangerous regardless of the position when you're talking about mass violence. You can't be on the "right" side when your recourse is violence against a group that includes innocents. It's really that simple.

Then you should thank the vigilantes in the article because the reason they were there was to keep that from happening to innocent people in the future.

i'm not saying they're "right". i'm saying this is going to happen and it's very tame now. it will only get worse as government keeps enraging its populations with insane policies

What group doesn't contain innocents?

It seems like a tough situation, but if you start allowing everyone to decide what laws to follow, you'd basically have thunderdome. Why not send the army in there?

That is a major point, teevens. The people are acting because the government is not acting.
