You don't know that for sure. You may feel like you've done enough reading on it but you never know if someone else knows more. For all you know, someone could be a Dr that sits on a board for this type of shite.

Just didn't like how you stated it, especially since you don't know the guy. It came off as very childish. Not a big deal to me though, just saying.

Unless he's deliberately misleading me to believe he knows less than he really does, then I 'know' to a reasonable degree of confidence that I know more than he does about this.

I don't understand the controversy in saying something like this. It's not a value judgment. I'm not saying I'm better than he is. I'm just saying I know more about this than he does.

I know more than most people do about this because I've read a lot about it. Again, it's not that I'm better than anyone because of it. I just know more about it.

Some people take comments like that way too personally
