New CB of Lindsey Scott to Maryland

Tom Loy just CB'd Scott to Maryland. What could this possibly be based on given Lindsey's forthcoming visit to LSU? I could see someone talking to him AFTER the visit and getting a feel for whether he's been convinced, but it seems premature to be CB'ing on Wednesday before his final visit.
Am I reading too much into this?

Shot in the dark, maybe? We really won't know until after this visit.
He may end up being right...I don't know. But I feel it's a guess at this point.

Tom Loy is a f*cking moron. The dude had a CB for LF to Notre Dame at one point in time and had one for Shea til the day before he committed to Ole Miss.

If he's thinkng academically, seems like Harvard or other Ivy League is the choice. Maryland makes no sense.
And even then it depends on what he wants to study and do as a career.

Yea man I'm kinda scared we might miss him to but no matter what we have a 50/50 chance but in future I hope we offer guys like Lindsey Scott sooner
