the asa to one of the switch ports on the netgear. Do not put it in the internet port. From there disable dhcp in the netgear and setup the wifi. Shouldn't be too bad.

For some reason I didnt even have to disable DHCP. I connected an ethernet cable into a port on ASA, then into port 1 of Netgear unit and I am able to access wifi internet by my phone.

Disabling DHCP is not really ultimately necessary, just makes a cleaner network as the Netgear will NAT all of the wifi to its default network (typically 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254). However it's likely that your wifi users won't be able to talk to the internal computers. If you don't want that, then great.
