Remember when he posted the phone number to the baseball office like it was a super secret cell phone number he had because he's special but it was just the number you could easily find online if you went to the website?
Or the in season emails from Will Davis that are posted to lsusports.net as press releases each week?

How does one become a member of the coaches committee? It sounds pretty exclusive

Just pay a ridiculous amount of money to listen to the Leprechaun speak.

I think it starts with cutting off contact from all of your family members and giving all of your personal assets to Paul Mainieri.
That's just speculation based on the cult-like fanaticism that Russian has when he talks about it. I don't know for sure.

First, you have to take an IQ test, with a floor score of 145.
Second, you need to make a lot of money and be politically connected.
Third, and most importantly, you have to be well traveled. And I'm not talking Paris or some other gay shite. Somewhere extreme, like the Arctic Circle.
THEN we can talk.

The LSU Baseball Coaches Committee is the sole booster club for the LSU baseball program. Started in 1984, by legendary coach Skip Bertman, the Coaches Committee meets seven times a year at Alex Box Stadium and receives constant e-mail updates on the team. The Coaches Committee is broken into three membership levels: The Gold Level ($1,500), the Purple Level ($750), and the Pinstripe Level ($300). Depending on the level of membership, coaches committee members receive gifts including but not limited to, hats, t-shirts, media guides, a team photo plaque with the member's name on it, and parking passes.
All membership dues are counted for TAF priority points and allow the baseball program to undertake special projects to benefit the players, fans, and help attract recruits.
If you are interested in joining please contact Assistant Coach Will Davis at wdavis9@lsu.edu or at 225-578-0082.

Let's see, play a 3 game series against Fordham, selling 30,000+ tickets, getting probably 20,000 in the stands for the weekend...... Or travel across the country spending 3-4 nights in a hotel plus flight and hope to get 15,000 people in the stands where you get maybe half the gates (not sure how that works in baseball)?
And most the idiots complaining wouldn't travel to the away series.

Yeah! There's no other way to watch sports. One day, maybe we could film it and watch it live from our homes. But alas, we can only dream.

Come on over to Houston and play either Rice or Houston and it will be like a home game for us without costing too much. Heck, even playing in Austin will draw a lot of LSU fans.

I usually apprise myself of current affairs of the Team Commonwealth via the writings of Sir Blakeus Maddus. My only complaint is that it usually takes a fortnight for his journal to reach the local tavern.

There were a ton of LSU fans in Houston last year. Was a great trip.
