Let's all take a minute and marvel at just how damn good he is doing with these kids. This was his first year to really go out and hand pick his guys and reel them in and he has delivered. Gotta love his intensity, and match that with a charismatic head coach and we are seeing the golden age of recruiting. Hope it translates to the field but for now this is awesome. Keep em comin!

True that! Got to keep Coach "0" for a long time. Down votes again. "Bama 40"?

I agree Coach O is a great recruiter and a great position coach. But LSU was recruiting well even before he got to LSU. We need to put the credit on the Head Coach. Coach Miles close the deal in that last in home visit. ALL of the top recruiting Head Coaches close the deal at that last in home visit. I heard that the mom and dad loves Coach Miles because Coach Miles is a family man. Coach Miles tells the kid parent that his door is alaways open even tho it is not football related.

If brick was still here we would have most likely watched a commitment to Ohio State earlier today followed by .... "LSU was right there but I just feel like OSU was the better place for me." If you don't want to acknowledge that Coach O pulled in the best d-line class in years in his first full recruiting year, then you're clearly not that smart.

I totally agree, Haley while a overall good coach, was good at recruiting high profile players during the season but come crunch time he couldn't close. No knock on Haley, but Orgeron is simply a better finisher than Haley was. We are seeing the direct effect of that in this recruiting cycle.

Haley isn't a salesman. He's good at throwing in a fat lipper and being a mediocre coach though

LSU's dline will be back to being a strength starting next year and it won't stop anytime soon with O

and it's not only on the recruiting trail... he took a group that totaled only 19 sacks in 2014 and INSTANTLY doubled that number with little to no depth.

what do you think happens now that he has a den of studs???
