I mean if I was a black kid growing up I prolly would have wanted BET. I would have had one show to watch with a Black family( Family Matters)while my honky friends got to watch dozens

The fact that you don't know about several other shows geared towards black during the 90's makes me think you (or more likely your parents) made a conscious effort to avoid black shows.

How about the Cosby Show? Or the Jeffersons or Good Times....were those not black families?

Or we could stop worrying about the color of the skin of the people on these shows (that whole judging by content of character dream thingy) and have interest in the quality of them. I liked Family Matters alot when I was younger and Im white. Why cant a black person feel the same about Married with Children?
