Thinking about buying this Radio for my boat

I was thinking about buying this bad boy for my bass boat since I fish alone most of the time.
LINK
It is water proof, shock proof, and it floats. It also synchs to my iPhone so I can listen to playlists, pod casts, or ESPN radio. I like that it is small. My routine is to charge my boat batteries the night before so I can charge this radio at the same time.
Anybody here have any experience with this radio or other ones?

I've seen quite a few waterproof bluetooth speakers. I honestly can't tell the difference in sound between any of them. The last one I bought was like $20 and it sounds as good as my $100 one.
I'd save a little money and buy a cheaper one. They are great little speakers regardless of which one you buy.

They have some cheaper models at Target. I'll take a look at them.

I need to buy some new speakers as one of mine is blown. Anyone have any cheaper waterproof speakers that work well?

That's not a radio, its a bluetooth speaker

Bought one at Christmas for my boat. Looks like the perfect deal to keep weight down, not drain any boat batteries and still have some tunes.
Would give you an in-boat report however I won't be ordering it until February, after closing on our new home, so an in-depth review will have to wait for April/May timeframe.

BLUETOOTH SPEAKER
This is the last one I bought. It's not waterproof because it's not sealed. But it has a little plastic cover that hides all the connections. I wouldn't hesitate leaving it out in the rain. Sound quality is as good as the Braven that I had. This one gets louder, too.

Normally I am not a huge Altec Lansing fan but looking at the reviews on that would give me pretty good hope.

Bluetooth speakers are great for the boat. My only concern is they drain the battery on your phone when connected. If you would use it a lot I would suggest have a charging adaptor for your phone in case of an emergency.

It's smaller than a dollar bill.

I have a UE Boom that works great and I'm going to get a UE Megaboom shortly because you can link both simultaneously through bluetooth

I've been wanting to get one of these Altec waterproof speakers.
I listened to them in the store at Best Buy.
Super clear and as loud as you need a Bluetooth speaker. Plus it's waterproof
Go to best buy and you can compare all of them in person to see which has the sound that is best for you. I like the model Altec just below the one you posted.

We have a couple of these JBL flips at the camp. Works and sounds great and "splash proof". Battery last about 5 hours.
