I dropped cable in 2011. My Cox bill at the time was a little over $200 a month.

Bought a Roku-$59.99(one time cost)
Nexus Player-$34.99(one time cost)
Mohu Leaf Antenna-$39.99(one time cost)

I currently pay:

Time Warner Extreme Internet-$40
Hulu+-$8.99
Netflix- Free w/password swap from sister(she uses my Hulu pw)

I don't count Amazon Prime b/c I pay the $99/year mostly for Prime shipping and would have it whether Amazon Instant was available or not.

With the Google Nexus Player I use Kodi and have access to every movie & TV show ever made for free. This includes movies still in theaters.

For most major sporting events, Mohu Leaf HD Antenna works great as they're all aired on broadcast TV.
I watch Saints games from direct feed links on a private subreddit forum-Free

Basically went from paying $205 a month to about $50 a month and I have access to more content. Very glad I cut the cord and never looked back.
