Now after half the season is played, they still get talked about OVER basketball and it's just simply annoying. Monmouth has some very good players on their team, and they get overshadowed by some walk-ons who do silly antics to draw more and more attention to themselves.

exactly. Watching the highlights this morning and monmouth hit a 3 pointer and the bench acted like every single person on teh team just won wednesday's powerball drawing.

What's odd to me is that most people seem to have the mindset watching NFL games of "wow, you just ran 2 yards on 2nd and 1 for a first down while your team is down 35, you're really gonna celebrate like that?" yet everyone goes nuts for the monmouth bench doing the same thing. Well, minus the "while getting killed" part but you know what I mean.

I have a feeling that Monmouth will win their league and get smoked in the tourney. Because they will be like a 13 seed and play a team who probably has talent but lacks focus. And then because of that bench, said team will not want that shite to happen to them and put it on Monmouth.
