I think testing an easy hypothesis with variables is always appropriate for that age. My recommendation is to test the hypothesis that hookers and blow is the best way to spend a set sum of money. I think the variables of hookers only, blow only, or both, and the relative enjoyment of you and your son should be tested to see if the hypothesis that, while less hookers and less blow than purchasing individually, the synergistic effect of both yields the best rate of return dollor for dollar with a fixed amount. We all know the answer, but that age it is applying the scientific method which is the most important.
