I had a 16'cc flat with a Yamaha 40 and a trolling motor. Had a blast in that boat. It was perfect for me to fish by myself. Burnt very little gas and I could easily handle it myself at the ramp. I'd put it in at Crawford Landing down the street from my house, run down the West Pearl about 25 minutes, then fish the mouth of the Pearl and that Rigolets area, and run all over Lake Borgne. Also fished in Bay St. Louis a good bit. I mainly fished reds, and it was the PERFECT redfishing machine. All of the ponds I fished, I'd never see another boat because no one else could reach them. Give me a foot or two of water and I was good to go. The one I has was a Lakesport, and I paid around $9K for the whole rig new. I can't fish anymore due to my back and neck, but if I could I'd buy another boat like that tomorrow.

When was this? That's a hell of a deal for a 16' CC
