I'll add to that number next year. Let way to many 3.5 year olds walk this year only to have them shot by others, mostly by illegal means. I can't bring myself to it brown its down but tired of letting 135+ inch deer walk hoping they survive to 150.

There is no way they know this in Louisiana.
The tags only differentiate "antlered" and "antlerless", and that's ALL that's reported, unless it is club reporting. I know some have to turn in weight and points to landowners, and some may be required to age with jawbones. The number of actual deer kills is probably at least 200% of what is reported, maybe more when considering the amount of dishonest hunters in our state.
All they ever know I killed is either a buck or doe. I'm sure this is just another marketing strategy by QDMA much like DU and Delta Waterfowl feed the public.
