Spurrier would be a terrible hire...if 62 doesnt matter go look at this years recruiting class at South Carolina.

LINK

I beleive last year's class would have been the best in SC history. And that's at SC. Imagine what he could do here.

You may want to research before you post since you are obviously uniformed.

I think he is an ok recruiter, just not great. He has 3 four star players and they are from the same prep school. (yes I know he is a SC) Could you see the star gazer meltdowns if he signed some 2-3 star players? They are on Miles and this staff for not being in the top 5 every year...

I would love spurrier. A coach thats not afraid to put up points at any point in the game!!!! Thats just what we need. A coach should never get conservative. ie spurrier.

You may not want him, but he will come. Spurrier (or his agent) made it know to the right people that he wants the gig. Lombardi is his best ally. He will come and he is coming. It just amazes me that so many on this board can't accept it.

So long as he wins at LSU who gives a damn. I am reading about his recruiting at the Gamecocks....but this is LSU/Louisiana and a recruiting hotbed. We would not skip a beat with this guy. I am not sure he has to recruit hard. Players will come to play for him at LSU.

And if they have any doubts, SOS can whip out the list of NFL players from his Florida teams.

The guy can get you to the league. Players know that. Regardless of age, he is a concensus top 5 coach. And as I said earlier, JOEPA has grandkids SOS's age.
