Jailbreak an iPhone?

I'm learning that I may have foolishly upgraded to iOS 9.2 and there's no current jailbreak (but TONS of news on the subject?)
I thought about reverting back from an old backup, but I don't seem to have any backups with previous versions to use... and apparently the downloadable files aren't "signed by Apple" anymore...
Is there a way to revert the iOS or even jailbreak at the moment?
Specs:
Device: iPhone 6
iOS: 9.2
Space: 128GB
(wasn't sure if this was a Tech Board topic or not... but I took my chances.)

What issues are you having with 9.2?

Unfortunately, no. Not at all.

There's no jailbreak for 9.2 yet and apple closed the signing window on 9.1 so you can't downgrade.

Jailbreaking is NF.

Revert back to what? You have nothing to revert back to.
Fwiw I was in the same boat as you but got a new phone last week that came with 9.0.2 installed and am now cruising along on the JB superhighway.

Yeah move it to the tech board where it can die a quiet death.

As opposed to several pages of trash responses from the OT?
Nothing left to discuss, though: Can't roll back, jail break not released for 9.2 yet.

1. Sell iPhone 6
2. Buy Nexus 6p
3. Take the OTA to 6.0.1
4. Unlock bootloader
5. Install twrp
6. Flash superSU 2.66
7. Flash Cataclysm ROM
8. Flash Franco Kernel
9. Bang OT 10s twice a week

Depending on the return policy, I thought about buying a new phone from Apple and not upgrading its iOS... Someone said they're still coming out as 8.4 I think I saw somewhere?
If that's the case, can I still get all my contacts, text messages, pictures, apps, etc. on the new phone and then wipe and return the old one?
Would that be possible?
ETA: just called Apple and they're shipping with iOS 9... Now I'm wondering about my data...

You could get your carrier to move your contacts from one phone to another but iTunes won't let you restore a backup made on 9.2 to an iPhone that has an older version of iOS. I don't know if there's a way around this because I've never looked into it.

Slower, sub par camera and occasional crashes? I'll stick with my 6+
