Out of curiousity, what degrees does your husband have. I currently have BS in Physics from LaTech and am almost finished with my MS in Electrical Engineering from Southern. I was considering trying to get into Oil and Gas as a low level analyst and hopefully work my way up.
I assume from all the negative press that this is a bad idea. Is there anyway a newcomer can get into O and G

He graduated from LSU in electrical engineering with a computer minor. He originally started out in the aerospace industry, then worked in the software industry before migrating to oil and gas. He's done various types of work...IT, telecom, automation/controls, and project management. He's back doing communications work.
