On another note, in E3 Jango Fett's head is cut off in his helmet by a light saber. Later Jango's son Boba Fett picks the helmet up off the ground. Wouldn't his dad's head still be in the helmet?

Obi Wan got cut in half, and all that was left was his clothes and his light saber. But various other people have had pieces of themselves cut off that survived. It is very inconsistent.

I wondered the same thing years ago. If you watch the scene frame by frame you can see jango's head come out of the helmet as it bounces and rolls. It is very quick and blurry but it is there.
