At least we're getting in shouting distance. It's a start.

Seasons not even halfway through yet. We're coming together people, and we will make the tourney and win a game. Sweet 16 or bust.........

Who's coming with me??????

This is going to really piss off the poster that argued so vehemently that LSU had already blown its shot at the tournament.

LSU is by no means a lock and bracketology in January is meaningless, but there is still opportunity for LSU. As much as it sucked to watch them lose to a team that played almost as bad as they did on Saturday, if LSU HAD to lose a game in the first 5 games of SEC play, that was probably the one they could afford to lose. Take care of business this week at home against Ole Miss and Ark. Then you have a HUGE opportunity at A&M

We can't lose more than 5 conference games. If we do that plus beat Oklahoma, we'll be in.

I still think the sec can get 5/6 teams in. Lsu ole Miss bama and Vandy all have a chance imo.

This team is like a roller coaster. Up and down.

I think the Ben Simmons Factor is going to be at play here. ESPN and the college basketball world all agree that he's a special player, and they desperately want him in the tourney; strength of schedule be damned. We might have the worst record of the at-large bids.

As long as our record isn't completely embarrassing, I think we slide in. I honestly think 18-19 wins will be enough. I can see us being bookmarked as one of the last 4 in, right now, in a lot of people's minds.

This team still has a lot of work to do to sniff a tourney bid. Will take at least 12 wins in SEC to get in, plus a decent SEC tourney run to sneak in

That's actually really encouraging. I didn't think we'd even sniff any projections. It's all in front of us if we can just find some consistency.

Honestly, closer than I thought we'd be. It helps that teams like Houston, Marquette and Wake are having good seasons to help the quality of our losses, and we still have some opportunities in front of us for more big wins. I've said before that 11 more wins is our magic number, still believe it.

One of the most shocking things about this bracketology is that he has Kentucky as a 2 seed.

They may eventually get there, but there's no way in hell they're currently on the 2 line.
