Goes to show you how bad of situation we were in last year with Steele.

The dude is halfway out the door with his career with his main eye on retirement.

So glad we have an up and comer at DC now.

Auburn is a pending train-wreck.
Texas A&M is a train wreck.
Ole Miss and Bama, talented but have more attrition than us.
Arky always plays us tough.

I like our chances next year.

Yep. If we get at least Beckwith back then it's now or never for 2016

I'm starting to think that Coach Steele, while perhaps a great guy, is best suited to organizing filing cabinets. Kind of an administrator trapped in a coach's body.

Their defense is going to be TERRIBLE next year.

I get so tired of this. Yes, college teams have attrition. And some of the elite teams have more, due to players leaving for the NFL draft. It's just part of the game. But it doesn't necessarily translate into poor results the following year.

College coaches know there will be roster turnover each year due to a lot of different factors: graduation, transfers, injuries, academic casualties, leaving for NFL, etc. They know this and plan for it accordingly.

Why does Alabama not "suffer" from attrition? They also lose a ton of players, but somehow manage to do ok. Why? Because they recruit well and also develop their backup players already on the roster, so there's little dropoff in productivity on the field.

Merely because teams suffer from attrition doesn't mean that team will actually suffer next year on the field. And I just get so weary of hearing this every year.

McGriff has been garbage for the Saints too. Weird.

Who the hell is making these decisions? I hate AU almost as much as Bama and I feel bad for them.
