not to mention all the northshore run off from open ditches and sewer
a regular river water douche is the best thing for the lakes health
yes it might displace some trout but the lake is not a bay, it's an estuarine entrapment. it needs a regular flush

and, all those dead cypress in the marsh along I-10? That's due to salt water
