Not happening. No way we see anything much different from this past season or other seasons (with exception of Mett's senior season). Harris will not make a quantum leap and we will be stuck with same product as there will be no time to change (forget Miles' stubbornness). My guess is after couple SEC losses (FL, Bama and then prob OM) Miles and rest know the jig is up and just go through the motions. We clean house and '17 becomes rebuilding year.

I don't think the offense was largely different Metts senior year, the players were just way better and capable of more things so they did more things.

He's not changing the offense. He already claimed that the problem was execution rather than philosophy.

More of the same in '16.

It's Christmas, be merry about something today. LSU football elite era is over. Enjoy what you get and move on.

If we going to continue to give up 20+ per game, it won't matter what we do on offense.

The offense will be fine because we will complete more passes and then see more passing plays stand because of fewer penaltiels.

Less has been forced to run the offense that he does because he doesn't have a QB. No more no less.

miles doesn't have the players to execute his offense and never will have. he depends on far superior OL and capable passing game. his game is to outscore opponents by a great defense and great special teams and an adequate offense featuring ball control.

the problem is the teams in the SEC west are built to stop his offense. they are built to stop the run (great front 7's), esp bama and ole miss. and miles doesn't have the capability to counter that because of the poor passing game.

also, our damn passing game with mett failed us at times too even tho the yardage numbers were great (for LSU anyway). mett did great at times but he had overthrow problems a lot and he cost us the game against ole miss ('13) with 3 costly interceptions in the first half.

to win the west, with nick saban's here, is gonna require a damn good offense, defense and special teams. all at the same time. we can lose one SEC game but we have to beat bama also. imo, we have had too many recruiting misses at key positions and terrible passing games; I just don't see it happening soon.

LF will earn an number one overall pick after next year. Harris may not but many very good Qb's had similar first year numbers. We need more balance and a better air attack we all know that but LF needs a lot of touches out of pro sets not all shotgun. Out of 22 will be his best formation especially if we can throw the ball out of it more often.

It was the same offense Metts senior year. Still run into a brick wall until 3rd down and long comes up. On 3rd and longs that year we were just seeing perfectly thrown balls in really tight spaces with great catches.

There is no offense in the country that has receivers that are as tightly covered as with ours. To be good, we almost need all pro's at every position, as the coaching is not going to give us any advantages or any favorable matchups. We need a QB that can sling it into a tiny window under pressure and a reciever who can catch it with one finger. If that happens... If... We will be an average SEC offense like we were that year.

The one day of the year you should be with family and enjoying life and you're here bitching about Miles....your life must be sad.

I pity you.

players, no players, QBs, no QBs....it doesn't matter, Miles will run his out dated 1970's offense and we'll win 80% of our games. Accept it. If you want championships, we have the wrong guy.

Can we be that fortunate? One thing is for sure, enjoy the 5th straight losing record in November.
