My wife has a friend that told her 6 year old that there was no santa and that her and her husband bought all the gifts because they wanted kids to know it was them buying the gifts.
When my wife told me that, I was completely shocked that someone would be that insecure.

I think this is sad. They're going to figure out in a couple of years. I love that my parents still do Santa for us as adults. They can do as they please, but I have such great memories of Santa and Christmas from when I was a kid.
