bump thread

Many here talk about Cam, but Palmer has much better stats leading the Cards.

I think Cam is leading, but Palmer seems more a sentimental bet.

I dunno.

Speaking of stats...

Cam Newton is the 1st player in NFL history to throw for over 300 yards + rush for 100 yards + throw 5 TDs in a single game #CARvsNYG

Have you seen Newtons stats ever since I made the thread of doom; and he and the team posted that shite in their locker room?

Last 7 weeks (post thread of doom)

22 TDs 2 INTs

First 7 weeks (pre thread of doom)

11 TDs 8 INTs

He has taken a gigantic shite on me. He went from mediocre QB to god mode and his team is 14-0. I have created a machine and I have no idea how to stop it.

Cam is #1 in total tds
top 10 in rushing touchdowns
top 5 in passing touchdowns
top 10 in rushing first downs

Palmer doesnt have "much" better stats like you say.

Honestly they should be co-MVP's like the year Manning and McNair split it

If he is, it would be fricking nice for him to show it tonight for my FFL sake. So far, all I've got is an rb td and a fricking fg. Cam had 5 scores.

Carson is boring, he just isn't interesting...

And while I think he is the better story - with his late career comeback...

Cam appears to be the better story because that is all anyone is talking about on MSB...and voters feel the pulse of the public.

Cam locked it up with that final drive to get them in FG range to go 14-0. He played them to a huge lead, they tie it up, and in the national tv game of the week, led them straight down the field.

Take Palmer off the Cards and they're a 5-11 team.

Take Cam off the Panthers and they're a 7-9 or 8-8 team.

The Panthers run an offense that Cam absolutely thrives in and relies heavily on the run much like at Auburn. (over 50%)

Both are playing great football

This is fricking stupid. As of right now here are the comparison in passing stats

Palmer: 4165 YDS 31 TD 9 INT 64%

Newton: 3502 YDS 33 TD 10 INT 59%

Palmer WRs: Larry Fitzgerald, Malcolm Floyd, John Brown

Newton WRs: Tedd Ginn, Jericho Cotchery, Devin Funchess

Palmer's top 3 WRs would be the best WR on the Panthers. Cardinals OL >>>>> Panthers OL

I'd vote cam, but Palmer winning wouldn't make me mad. He's been great.

People are just totally forgetting to add in cams rushing stats like it isn't a valuable part of his wins. Y'all know nothing
