Don't be too vocal about Jones Creek and Shenandoah declining. I was chastised a few weeks ago by some ardent Baton Rouge acitivists. But yeah, I agree, it's not the same jones creek as it was when I went to high school in late 90's.

I've been living in that area since 1990, and have noticed a definite decline in my surroundings. Building soon-to-be Section 8 apartment houses sure aren't helping the area.

I know an old man here in Baton Rouge that owns well over one hundred of these all over the southeast united states. Borrows say $5million at prime plus not much and puts it out into his places for 30% or so. Dear lord that old man has some money.

Baton Rouge is a terrible place to live now. Escape to St. George while you can.

There are some at the corner of Jones Creek and Tiger Bend. We can't forget about St. Jean, and I'm sure the houses in the neighborhood they're building behind the Small Mart on Coursey will be just lovely.
