althought i agree with you on most of your points, it seems as though you should opt for a home gym
i've saved over $1500 in gym fees in the last few years by purchasing my own equipment, saved time/gas going to and from the gym and don't have to worry about other people

I like showing off while i lift. Home gyms aren't the same even if you have all the equipment.
