What about with your computer? Do you have to log in to their page to get to the images? The one thing I've liked about Photos is that it is seemless. Even if I scroll back to an older photo or video it just takes a few moments for it to download the hi res version without ever having to log in or acess through your browser. It's all handled automatically within the app. The same thing takes place on your phone. I have instant access to nearly 12,000 photos, and that only takes up ~4 GB of space of my phone.

you have to be logged into google/gmail but who isn't?
i just open any random browser on my computer and can get right to the images & video.
are you saying you have to have an app on your computer to do this? dont you have to log into the app the same way as logging into google on a browser?
whats more, i can get to them at any time anywhere in the whole world on virtually any computer in existence.
with an apple app you're very limited to when/how you can actually view the photos and you certainly can't get to them on a friend's computer unless you log them out of the app first.
plus - youtube.
you can't argue there is a better way to share video with friends/family than google automatically syncing your phone's videos *IN HD* to youtube so all you need to do is make like 2 clicks & 'copy' to get a shareable youtube url for anyone you want.

i have instant access to 20,000+ photos and 1080p videos and it takes up ZERO space on my phone (except what i'm currently viewing that is cached for the moment).
