Bud's general manager, Melvin Ziegler, said there was at least one other customer in the restaurant at the time. The would-be robber waited for that customer to order, Ziegler said, before placing a hood over the head to try to conceal his face.
"It must have been his first time," Ziegler said of the suspect. "He wasn't very smart."

Watch the video from the surveillance. It looks like after they get the guy to run off, an employee reaches into the cash drawer and grabs a stack of money
