It's a fine line you are trying to walk with the dog and probably won't get the desired results.

Some dogs can be nice, but realize when someone doesn't belong there. I've had 2 like that

This, my Cur/Lab is showing awesome instinct in this regard.

She is super sweet and I even bring her to practice with me, but the other day she was in the back yard when two meter readers try to come back there and she went off on them.

My wife called me freaking out because she couldn't calm her down so that the guys could get back there. I just laughed and said good.
