If it is illegal to attempt to purchase it is a crime. Entrapment comes to mind as far as the cops go. The underage kid I saw was about 6 ft 3 or so and looked older than he was.

Oh my bad I misunderstood you. But for the ATC it has to be a valid ID as well as not expired or anything. So basically its all on the clerk to check it and deny them.

All the kids they send us are very obvious, so I don't if that one agent is a dick or not.
