B/c they want players that want to play for their school and compete. We have recruits that want to play for the coaches that happened to be at lsu.

Nah... Statistically, the kid has been average. Great measurables. Nothing in this kids film makes him a must have IMO. We gotta stop chasing stars and rankings, and "recruit". Look, I think you make a fair point.
But, there is also another way to look at it, one that many, many people (coaches, fans, analysts) ascribe to: LSU has a terrible passing offense (and usually does) and that's on the coaches.

I would agree with you if not for the excessive number of open receivers that Brandon has just flat out missed over those three weeks, and 4 if you count this week. Don't get me wrong...sometimes defenders were in position, but many other times he just couldn't get the ball close to catchable.
