The people you think are experts exaggerate (sarcasm) and say that we'll hit for shite and be the best pitching team of all time.

I don't think you or anyone else on this board are baseball experts...except in your own mind. ETA: That's why I put the word "experts" in quotation marks in my first post.

So were you exaggerating or being sarcastic when you posted?:

Your continual shitting on the LSU baseball program and your personal vendetta against Coach Mainieri have become tiring. You look like a fool saying a coach who has won college baseball Coach of the Year awards FOUR TIMES (not just while at LSU but at another school, as well) can't make game decisions.

You need to get over the fact that you just weren't good enough to play for LSU and had to settle playing for a NAIA team that lost almost twice as many games as it won while you were on the team.

I wasn't exaggerating when I said we should shut down the athletic department. Sometimes you have to kill the patient to cure the disease.

I'm glad you're back to your old linking self.

General statements with hardly any quantitative measurement on hitting and pitching with melodramatic undertones...

Obviously, I was serious.

We were terrible! I was terrible. Enjoyed the hell out of it and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I was never talented. Yet I played 4 years (with a medical redshirt thrown in) and had some success only because I understood the game and my strengths. I was fortunate to be given almost total freedom on the mound, at the plate, and on the base paths. So as bad as we were and I was, I left with a handful of records and many more friendships/relationships that I would never trade anything for, some of which give me extra insight that even your money can't buy.
