Leave it to Louisiana politicians to ruin things. What a surprise.

Its not an overreaction. There are alot of jobs open each season. Alot of those jobs pay great and are run by better people that would not try to embarrass a coach or trick fans into supporting him under false pretenses.

There certainly aren't lots of jobs that are great and pay like LSU open every season. See, that's again, an overreaction.

This season is a rare one in that there are quite a few solid open jobs, and 1 school would be as coveted AND pay as much as LSU would.

They were saying thanks but goodbye, and there is no way you can say 102,000 were there. Lots of empty seats last night

I don't really think you understand the collateral damage caused by this stunt last night. If you think agents and coaches are dying to work at LSU now there really is no helping you.

You're vastly overrating it.

I think this is patently absurd.

When the bright lights and money are thrown at you, that trumps all of the nonsense you're overreacting about. I'm sure coaches are going to be dying to take $2mil/year less at a lesser school because of this...no chance.

I guess we will see over time and I sincerely hope im wrong and your right. I think the program was compromised in an extremely significant manner last night that will take many years to recover from.

In his head, he's got more control then ever now. He feels untouchable. He will toss a couple of end arounds, read options, and an occasional go deep on 1st down much won't change. He will be under the microscope.

With goofy? You know better. Two loss Les, that is what he is and always will be. This is better for Joe, if he plays this right. He has empathy as a result of the cry babies. Joe is giving him the one more year to satisfy those that believe he deserves one. Everyone knows goofy is not going to change philosophy, he will lose to the gumps, pigs and OM, & probably aTm.

Aleava will be in the "I told you so position". Miles will hang his on arse. He is so damn ignorant he has already forgotten that he just scraped by. Miles believed he was gone, or his family would not have been down on the field. Aleava dropped the ball because the only backup plan was to retain Miles.

He has no QB and will stay with the same ole chit, and be gone at the end of 2016 and the signs will then read "Hell Neaux Let Him Geaux"
