He could do well in the ACC or Big Ten with his approach.

If you just look at stats, then maybe. But in reality it's an average of 10 wins per season with the 2 losses being to SEC teams. This won't win championships.

He had a way shittier record at his previous school and he turned out to be a kickass hire.

Les Miles could have won the sec and mnc every year and for some it wouldn't be good enough.

From day one lots of people didn't like him becaus his name wasn't Nick Saban

Except that it did win a championship out of the best division in football. And if you're being honest, it should have won a second one as well.

I love the revisionist history happening around here lately. You'd think Les had never won anything while he was here.

If I'm a fan of another school that's a potential national championship contender and I had watched Miles at LSU since 2011 and the decline in the program ...

ESPECIALLY their performance these last three games ...

Then hell no. No way in hell I'd want CLM coaching my team.

Do you even remember that year? A loss to Arkansas late in the season almost lost it all. The next time it was an embarrassment. I'm not a Les hater, but I think after 11 years, fans are either comfortable with "almost" championships or ready for a change.

The haters wont answer your question as I understand it.

If les was 110-32 at say FSU and LSU wanted to hire him is basically the question as I see it.

Of course they'd want LSU to hire him. How could anyone say otherwise?

If they do, you know their agenda IMO

Have I watched nearly every Les Miles coached game the last 11 years or am I just looking at his record?

If the former, hell no. If the latter, sure.

But it didn't. Plenty teams can say almost on anything. Plenty of negatives without tarnishing our title that everyone else lost the chance to play for and win

Overall, but with the view that the past 3 years were not very productive.

Can you maintain a list of people who say no so we can spot the dummies?

Thanks

Not if I'd watched him squander tons of talent and run the same exact offense with 5 different Oc's. I hate to say it but Chief masked a ton of Les's deficiencys and kept him around as long as he was.

For a while yeah....kudos. but come on man. You cant think he still has it in him to lead us to the promised land. If I thought he could even lead us to the playoffs, I'd feel differently.

If I just looked at stats and had never watched a game? Yes, but as someone that has watched every game he has coached at LSU no I would not.

No. He's 62 years old. That youthful drive to win is gone.
